The North Platte City Council voted unanimously on the first reading to ban smoking within 25-feet of entrances and exits of city buildings with posted no smoking signs. They also voted to ban smoking in all city parks including bleachers in the ball fields and the swimming pool. Smokers will still be able to smoke while playing golf at the city-owned Iron Eagle Golf Course. Do you agree or disagree with their decision?
