Nebraska state statute allows towns and cities to enact ordinances to restrict where registered sex offenders can live if the codes are limited to sexual predators, extend no more than 500 feet from a school or daycare, and don't include offenders who established a residence before July 1, 2006. Some Nebraska cities have put restrictions in place. Should the North Platte City Council consider such a measure?
