Bob Kerrey will vote to keep Social Security and Medicare alive. He will put the good of Nebraska and the good of the country before party politics and will work across the aisle. He doesn't need power. He's been there, done that, and he's headed to Washington because he feels a duty to try to help work things out. Deb Fischer will vote the party line and it will be more gridlock in Washington, D.C. If you are prepared to take care of your parents' medical needs when Medicare goes to the voucher system, and if your kids are prepared to take care of you when you hit retirement age, then lucky you. You can vote for Republicans so they can slash Social Security and Medicare without worrying. If you're not that well off, then THINK before voting for ANY rob-from-the-poor-to-give-to- the-rich-Republican. THINK.

Should add a "anyone but Karpetbagger Kerry". He is only interested in what power he can acquire. Acting as though he has a real concern about Nebraska issues will not work with Nebraska voters.
