The City of North Platte says the Fourth Street Alcoholics Anonymous club, located at 1720 W. Fourth Street, the site of the old Campus Cleaners, is out of compliance with zoning regulations. The city says too many cars park around the building during their two hour-long meetings at noon and 8 p.m. daily. The owners of the building and the AA group have appealed the city's administrative decision to the Board of Adjustment who agreed to hear their appeal. The city's development director is threatening to sue the board of adjustment to keep it from hearing the appeal and granting a variance to continue operating there.

What do you think, should the AA group be allowed to operate there?

Yes, they should be able to operate there. 291 38%
No, they should find another place to meet. 481 62%
