The North Platte City Council last month approved changing the city's zoning to allow funeral homes to install crematoriums for cremations of corpses. Adams and Swanson Funeral Home was the first to apply to install one. Area residents are upset because its so close to their homes. Should the city allow crematoriums to be built next to residential subdivisions?
