Harry  Jay  Statley
     Harry Jay Statley, 43, of North Platte died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in Kearney, Nebraska.
     Harry was born September 30, 1970 in Brush, Colorado to Walter and Shirley Statley.
     Harry is a 1990 graduate of Brush High School in Brush, Colo.
     Harry was a loving person. He had a lot of heart. He liked to break dance as a child even though he had a hip disability. He loved animals, including his two dogs, Shiloh and Sierra. He was thoughtful and respectful of others throughout his life and enjoyed helping people.
     Harry is survived by his mother Shirley Statley of Bird City, Kan.; two brothers: Allen Eugene Statley of Madison, South Dakota and Charles Statley of Oberlin, Kan; a sister Carrie Malcolm of Bird City, Kan; three nephews: Daniel Horan and Brendon Statley of Madison, S.D; two nieces: Amy Thomas of Brush, Colo. and Kayla Ann Marie Statley of Oberlin, Kan.
     Preceding him in death were his father Walter Statley, his niece Danielle Statley and great-niece Hayle Marie Thomas.
     Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis, Kan. The family requests that visitors and attendees to be clean and sober.
     Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Methodist Church in Bird City, Kan.
