Mary  Jo  Marshall
     Mary Jo Marshall, 66, of North Platte, died Dec. 29, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 8, 1946 in Rushville to Herman and Lucille (McGannon) Arthur.
     Mary Jo graduated from Assumption Academy in Chadron in 1965. She moved to Denver for a short while before moving back to Chadron. On October 14, 1967, Mary Jo married Lou Marshall in Chadron.
     The couple lived in Oelric, S.Dak., Harrison, Hay Springs, Kearney, and Cozad, where she worked at Warnke State Farm Insurance. In 1991, they moved to North Platte where she worked for State Farm Insurance with Wayne Johnson, and Jim Waldschmidt. She was currently working for Bill Burbach State Farm Insurance.
     Mary Jo was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, enjoyed sewing, wine collecting, and traveling, especially in the Black Hills.
     Survivors include her husband Lou of North Platte; her daughters, Karen Woldt of Cozad, Deanna (Casey) Wilson of Cozad, and Deborah (Terence) McIntyre of North Platte; a sister, Patty (Jerry) Nebel of Denver; brothers, Paul (Mary) Arthur of Rapid City, S.Dak., and Tim (Deb) Arthur of Aurora; a sister-in-law, Shirley Arthur of Hastings; brother and sister-in law, Harry (Linda) Marshall; a sister and brother-in-law, Jan (Bruce) Garner; grandchildren, Brandon and Rylee Woldt, Heather, Cody, Jarod, and Timothy Wilson, and Katie McIntyre; and numerous other family members and friends
     Memorials may be made to the Callahan Cancer Center or the Gift of Hope Cancer Foundation.
     Christian Wake Services will be at 7 p.m. January 2, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with the Rev. James Golka as celebrant. Inurnment will be in Chadron. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
