Evelyn  L.  Arbuck
     Evelyn L. Arbuck, 94, of North Platte, died Dec. 1, at Linden Court. She was born on Apr. 22, 1918 in North Platte to Frank W. and Lola E. (Ridinger) Steel.
     Evelyn graduated from North Platte High School. On March 11, 1939, she married Donald Arbuck in North Platte. The couple continued to live in North Platte their entire lives. Evelyn, Donald and his parents operated the Arbuck Filling Station and Blacksmith Shop for many years.
     Evelyn enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling. Evelyn was an excellent rag rug maker, sharing many with family and friends. She was also an active volunteer for RSVP.
     She is survived by a brother-in-law, Chris Dracon of Julesburg, Colo., several nephews, and many special friends.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Frank Steel, and a sister Bonnie Dracon.
     A memorial has been established to Great Plains Hospice or to the North Platte Senior Center.
     Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
