Ronald  E.  Meyer
     Ronald E. Meyer, 69, of North Platte, died November 6 at his home. Ron was born on September 15, 1943 in Lexington to William Fredrick and Iva May (Firman) Meyer.
     Ron attended schools in Lexington. Ron worked for the Game and Parks Department in Elwood while living in Lexington, and lived in Cozad before moving to North Platte. He worked for Freeze''s Bait and Tackle for many years working in the fur and bait business. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at Lake Maloney.
     Survivors include his son, Larry (Sharon) Meyer of Buffalo, Okla.; grandchildren, Jordan Dean Meyer, Jacob Eugene Meyer, Justin Brunick, and Jennifer Brunick; a sister, Deanna (Larry) Remmers of North Platte; two brothers, Bob (Carol) Meyer of Lexington, and Jerry (Debra) Meyer of Blue Rapids, Kans.; and numerous other family members and friends.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Betty Kind, two brothers, Bill and Herald Meyer, and two infant siblings.
     Memorial services were 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which was in charge of arrangements.
