Ruth M. (Ogier) Boe, 87 of Jacksonville, Fla., died Thursday, September 13. She was the wife of the late LeRoy Boe. She was born in Wallace, Neb., on December 17, 1924, daughter of the late James and Agnes (Light) Ogier.
She and her late husband LeRoy, retired to Lehigh Acres, Fla., in 1983. Ruth resided in Jacksonville, Fla. since 2004.
Ruth is survived by four daughters, Renea Cochrum and her husband Kent of Sacremento, Calif., Vicki Sueflohn and her husband Dan of Jacksonville, Cindy Boe of Orlando, Fla., Beth Hockenberry and her husband Terri of Asheville, N.C., two sons, Michael Boe and his wife Marianne of Jacksonville, Greg Boe and his wife Robbin of Denver, Colo., a sister, Ann Harris and her husband Vern of Dickens, Neb., a brother Bill Ogier and his wife Marilyn of Alpena, Ark., 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Bob Ogier of Oshkosh, and the late Norma Bomberger of Brady.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Raphael''s Catholic Church, Lehigh Acres, on Saturday, September 15. Ruth was laid to rest beside her husband at Lee Memorial Park, Lehigh Acres, Fla.
