Karole  Kay Beza  Bell
     Karole Kay Beza Bell, 76, of North Platte died Monday, July 2, at Bryan LGH Medical Center in Lincoln.
     Karole was born March 4, 1936, to Alfonso Clarence and Marie Elizabeth Gerle Beza at North Platte where she grew up.
     She graduated from North Platte High School in 1954. While in high school she was a softball coach and pitcher and she continued to play softball into her 30''s. After graduating, Karole went to work for TRW in Sutherland and Ogallala. She worked there for over 40 years before retiring in 2001.
     On September 15, 1974, Karole married Donald Eugene Bell at Ogallala and they made their home in North Platte. She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church and at one time sang in the church choir and helped with the youth group. She also was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #1504, Moose Auxiliary #551 and the Eagles Auxiliary #2839.
     Karole was involved with many sports like softball, bowling, roller skating and ice skating. For a few years, she played Santa Claus at the V.F.W. and for different families. She also volunteered at the Food Bank and for R.S.V.P. Karole enjoyed being around people and liked to play practical jokes on her friends.
     Karole is survived by her brother, Richard (Janice) Beza, of North Platte; many nieces and nephews including Wende and Bri White, Deb Essex, Mike Essex, Bill White, Tim White, Dennis McNeal, Mike Beza, Ed and Patrick O''Boyle, Judy Best, Terry, Jerry and Patricia Milroy, Patrick McNeil, Layne Beza and their families. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Joyce McNeal; and numerous relatives and friends.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bell; her parents, Alfonso and Marie Beza; two brothers, Alfonso and Clifford Beza; and her sisters, Bonnie McNeal, Priscilla Milroy and twin sister, Baby Beza.
     Funeral service was at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 6, at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church with Marcia Dorn officiating. Burial followed in Fort McPherson National Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church or the American Diabetes Association. Condolences may be shared at odeanchapel.com with Odean Colonial Chapel in charge of arrangements.
