Partricia  Jo  Gleason
     Patricia Jo Gleason, age 61 of North Platte, passed away Saturday, June 23 at GPRMC.
     Pat was born July 9, 1950 to Gerald and LaVelle Gleason in North Platte. She graduated from St. Pat''s in 1968. After graduation she went to Grand Island to beauty school then came back to North Platte where she worked as a beautician. Over the years Pat also worked at a nursing home, and at Holy Spirit and St. Patrick''s Catholic churches and at NP Catholic Schools. She was an active parishioner at St. Patrick''s Catholic Church and a member of AA and ALANON. Patricia enjoyed playing the guitar, dancing and music. She loved children, especially the neighborhood kids, her nieces and nephews. She was a prayer warrior for everyone around her. She was always a very generous person; she did much volunteer work at her church.
     Pat is survived by 2 sisters, Mary Jean (Glen Frailey) Schirmer of Newark, TX and Geraldine “Geri” Reeder of North Platte; nieces and nephews, Penny (Don) Folbre, Donna and Glen Jr. Frailey, Julie Patterson and Norma Roberts, Christopher Ray Coleman, Marcy (Mark) Tilford, Chad (Mikki Cerny) and Vicki Gleason, Sherry (Kent) Steele, Charles (Maggie) Gleason, Katie (Paul) Thomas, Laura Gleason; many great nieces and nephews including, Amber and Amanda Sexton, Andy, Jason, Holly and Russell Folbre, Christina Tilford, Crystal and Tylor Gleason, Stefanie and Brandon Goodall, Derek and Tiffany Benoist, Madison and Calliope Steele, Christopher Gleason and Sadie Thomas.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers Bill and George; sister in law Shirley Gleason; and special father figure, Marvin Reeder.
     A memorial has been established in her name and online condolences can be made at www.adamsswanson.com. Christian Wake service will be 7 p.m., Thursday, June 28 at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Friday, June 29 at St. Patrick''s Catholic Church with the Reverend James Golka officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be June 27-28 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
