Robert  L.  Guilliaume  Sr.
     Robert ''Bob'' L. Guilliaume, Sr., 87, of North Platte died Wednesday, June 13, at Centennial Park Retirement Village in North Platte.
     Bob was born February 27, 1925, to Maurice and Lillian M. Graham Guilliaume at North Platte where he grew up. He graduated from North Platte High School in 1943. He enlisted in the U.S. Army the following month and served overseas during World War II. Bob was discharged in February 1946. He hired on with the Union Pacific Railroad in 1944 and was a machinist. He retired in 1987.
     On January 17, 1948, Bob married Lillian ''Billie'' Margaret Powell in North Platte where they made their home and raised six children.
     Bob was a member of St. Patrick''s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of P.R. Halligan Post #163 American Legion, V.F.W. Post #1504, North Platte Veterans Honor Guard, F.O. Eagles Aeries #2839, Machinist Local #180, RSVP and Senior Center Bingo.
     Bob is survived by his wife, Billie, of North Platte; two daughters, Connie Guilliaume, of Lincoln and Shellie (Pat) Heath, of Gering; three sons, Robert Jr. (Roberta) Guilliaume, of Northglenn, CO, Ron Guilliaume, of North Platte and Thomas (Terri) Guilliaume, of Haskell, OK; seven grandchildren, Joe, Jeremy, Melissa, Amy, Kristen, Holly and Cody; eight great-grandchildren, Katelin, Jordan, Peyton, Kaylee, Aaron, Marcus, Mason and Gunnar; several nieces, nephews and other family.
     He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph; his parents, Maurice and Lillian; his brother, Eugene; and a sister, Phyllis Frame.
     Mass of Christian Burial was 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 18, at St. Patrick''s Catholic Church with Father Mathew Thekkekara as celebrant. Burial with military honors followed in Fort McPherson National Cemetery. The online guest book may be signed at odeanchapel.com and memorials are suggested to the Lincoln County Senior Center or St. Patrick''s Catholic Church. Colonial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
