The sky is expected to be mostly-clear-to-partly-cloudy Monday during the eclipse, the National Weather Service in North Platte said.

Patchy fog is expected Monday morning before 9 a.m., but there is a chance the sky will be partly cloudy through the eclipse hours, according to the forecast.

After 3 p.m., there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

The eclipse will begin around 11:30 a.m. Totality occurs at 12:53 p.m.
