Thrivent: Eclipse viewing glasses for food donationsTell North Platte what you think

The Thrivent Western Nebraska Group announced Monday they want to fill their offices with non-perishable food items, offering solar eclipse safety glasses while supplies last.

Thrivent is at 109 E. Second, Suite 12, in North Platte.

Members from the Thrivent Member Network – Rocky Mountain Region are donating non-perishable food items for the weeks leading up to the solar eclipse to benefit food pantries in the area.

The Thrivent office at 120 W. Ninth in Cozad will do the same.

All Thrivent Financial members belong to a local organization, called a Thrivent Member Network, that provides a way for them to give back to their communities, congregations and causes they care about through charitable activities and educational events, the announcement said.
