• Buffalo Bill Ranch ( 2921 Scouts Rest Ranch Rd) Gun Action Shoot-out. 5:30 p.m. No charge. At 6:30 pm food served $7 per plate.

• North Platte VFW - Dance to Ray Mullen. 7-10 p.m. $4. Freewill donation.


Tuesday, Sept. 2

• Farmers Market (Parkade Plaza parking lot) 4-6 p.m.


Wednesday, Sept. 3

• North Platte Senior Center - Dance to Ray Mullen. 7-9:30 p.m. $4. Bring finger food.


Thursday, Sept. 4

• Sculley’s Shooters – Live rock music concert/dance by Prophets of Addiction. Cover charge. 9 p.m.


Friday, Sept. 5

• Downtown - Col. Cody Car Show and Shine on the bricks. Hundreds of classic cars on display 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Food vendors, snow cones, snacks.

• Sculley’s Shooters – Live country music concert/dance by Grass Fire. Cover charge. 9 p.m.

• Center for Health (302 S. Jeffers) - Business after hours. 5-7 p.m. $1

• Cody Park ballfields (1402 N. Highway 83) – Outdoor movie at the park: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. Begins at dusk. No charge.

• Sculley's Shooters - State Rodeo Finals begins. Social hour at 7 p.m. Cowboy introductions at 8 p.m. Calcutta at 8:30 p.m.


Saturday, Sept. 6

• Farmers Market (Parkade Plaza parking lot) 7:30-1.

• Downtown - Col. Cody Car Show and Shine on the bricks. Hundreds of classic cars on display 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Food vendors, snow cones, snacks.

• Sculley’s Shooters – Live country music concert/dance by Grass Fire. Cover charge. 9 p.m.

• Cody Park - Doggy Dash 5k/Puppy Olympics. 5k starts at 9 p.m. Puppy Olympics at 10 a.m., following a freewill pancake feed. Bring dog to compete in competitive events. Individual events $1. $5 for all seven events.

• Hershey Ball Park - Outdoor movie at the ball park: Moms' Night Out. Begins at dusk. Bring chairs and snacks. In case of bad weather will move to Baptist Church in Hershey. Free will donation.

• Wild West Arena - State Rodeo Finals continues. Steer roping finals 8 a.m. First rodeo performance at noon. Second rodeo performance at 7 p.m.


Sunday, Sept. 7

• Cody Park - Arts in the Park. 9 a.m-5 p.m.

• Wild West Arena - State Rodeo Finals concludes. Church services at 9 a.m. Final performance at Noon.        


Tuesday, Sept. 9

• Farmers Market (Parkade Plaza parking lot) 4-6 p.m.


Wednesday, Sept. 10

• Neville Center (301 E. 5th) - Town Hall Lecture Series "The Past and Who You Are" featuring Elizabeth Smart, an advocate for change related to child abduction, recovery programs and National legislation. 10:30 a.m. Admission by season tickets, $60 for four lectures, available at the door.

• North Platte Senior Center - Dance to Lou Kraus. 7-9:30 p.m. $4. Bring finger food.


Friday, Sept. 12

• Sculley’s Shooters – Live music concert by Emphatic and Dollarhyde. Cover charge. 9 p.m.

• A to Z Books – Open Mic Nite, 7-10 p.m. Live entertainment. Refreshments. Admission by freewill donation.


Saturday, Sept. 13

• Wellfleet - Wellfleet Fall Festival. Fishing tournament, bike ride, craft show, antique tractor pull, turtle races, parade, goat scramble, food, dance. All day.

• Farmers Market (Parkade Plaza parking lot) 7:30-1.

• Sculley’s Shooters – Live music concert/dance by West Wind. Cover charge. 9 p.m. 


Sunday, Sept. 14

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds - Demolition Derby. 2:30 p.m.


Tuesday, Sept. 16

• Farmers Market (Parkade Plaza parking lot) 4-6 p.m.


Wednesday, Sept. 17

 • North Platte Senior Center - Dance to Ray Mullen. 7-9:30 p.m. $4. Bring finger food.


Friday, Sept. 19

 • Lincoln County Historical Museum - Recreation of Grand Duke Alexis Rendezvous begins. Knife and tomahawk throwing, black powder shooting, and cavalry and artillery demonstrations. The day ends with a buffalo cookout. 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

 • Cody Park - Rail Fest begins. Live music & locomotive simulator at Cody Park, parts on display. Opens at 4 p.m. NPHS choir, 'Job, Chuck & Peter.' Dance to Innocent Mischief 8-10 p.m. Tours of Mid-Plains College Railroad Technology Center, tours of Bailey Yard, kids activities, food and vendors. 4-10 p.m..


Saturday, Sept. 20

• Farmers Market (Parkade Plaza parking lot) 7:30-1 p.m.

 • Lincoln County Historical Museum - Recreation of Grand Duke Alexis Rendezvous continues. Knife and tomahawk throwing, black powder shooting, and cavalry and artillery demonstrations. The day ends with a buffalo cookout. 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

 • Cody Park - Rail Fest continues at 7:30 a.m. Locomotive simulator, live music all day & night under the pavilion with finest musicians, tours of Mid-Plains College Railroad Tech Center, tours of Bailey Yard, tours of the Golden Spike observation tower, UP Family Picnic. Believe it or Not tour at North Platte Cemetery, kids activities, food and vendors, and more. Dance to Latin Jam, 7 p.m.-10 p.m. 

• Wallace - Wallace Fall Festival. Parade, kids' games, rodeo, tractor pull, BBQ, street dance. No charge. All day.


Sunday, Sept. 21

 • Lincoln County Historical Museum - Recreation of Grand Duke Alexis Rendezvous concludes. 1-5 p.m. knife and tomahawk throwing, black powder shooting, and cavalry and artillery demonstrations. Day ends with a buffalo cookout.

 • Cody Park - Rail Fest 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Locomotive simulator, live music at Cody Park, with Catch 153, UNK Nebraskats, the Calhouns and more. Tours of Mid-Plains College Railroad Technology Center, tours of Bailey Yard & Golden Spike, kids activities, games, food and vendors.
