• Hershey football field - Family Night. Vota concert, hot dogs. Bring lawn chairs. Freewill donation. 8 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 23

• Farmers Market (Parkade Plaza parking lot) 7:30-1.
• A to Z Books – Open Mic Nite, 7-10 p.m. Live entertainment. Refreshments. Admission by freewill donation.

• Wild West Arena - Monster Truck Show. 7:30 p.m. Youth: $14 in advance, $15 at door; Adults: $19 in advance, $20 at door.

• Hershey - Hershey Fall Festival. All day. Food, Tractor/Pickup pull, Water Fight, Car Show, Parade, kids games, BBQ, 5K run, dance to Innocent Mischief. 

• D & N Event Center (501 E. Walker Rd.) - Railtown Rumble Roller Derby. 7:30 p.m. $10 in advance.

• St. Patrick's Church (Fifth & Walnut) -- 62nd annual Bar-B-Q. Noon to 3 p.m.

• Lincoln Co. Fairgrounds raceway -Go Kart races. Last race of season 2 p.m.  

 Monday, Aug. 25

• Lighthouse Foursquare church (2001 West A) - The Blackwood Legacy Quartet in concert. 7 p.m. Admission by freewill donation.

Tuesday, Aug. 26

• Farmers Market (Parkade Plaza parking lot) 4-6 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 27

• North Platte Senior Center - Dance to Doug Powers and Top Shelf Country. 7-9:30 p.m. $4. Bring finger food.

Saturday, Aug. 30

• Farmers Market (Parkade Plaza parking lot) 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

• Buffalo Bill Ranch ( 2921 Scouts Rest Ranch Rd)  Gun Action Shoot-out. 5:30 p.m. No charge. At 6:30 pm food served $7 per plate.

Sunday, Aug. 31

• Sculley’s Shooters – Live rock music concert/dance by Prophets of Addiction. Cover charge. 9 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 5

• Downtown - Col. Cody Car Show and Shine on the bricks. Hundreds of classic cars on display 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Food vendors, snow cones, snacks.

• Sculley’s Shooters – Live country music concert/dance by Grass Fire. Cover charge. 9 p.m.

• Center for Health (302 S. Jeffers) - Business after hours. 5-7 p.m. $1

• Cody Park ballfields (1402 N. Highway 83) – Outdoor movie at the park: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. Begins at dusk. No charge.


Saturday, Sept. 6

• Farmers Market (Parkade Plaza parking lot) 7:30-1.

• Downtown - Col. Cody Car Show and Shine on the bricks. Hundreds of classic cars on display 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Food vendors, snow cones, snacks.

• Sculley’s Shooters – Live country music concert/dance by Grass Fire. Cover charge. 9 p.m.

• Cody Park - Doggy Dash 5k/Puppy Olympics. 5k race starts at 9 p.m. Puppy Olympics at 10 a.m., following at freewill pancake feed. Bring your dog to compete in competitive events. Individual events cost $1. $5 for all seven events.

• Cody Park - Arts in the Park. 9 a.m-5 p.m.


Tuesday, Sept. 9

Wednesday, Sept. 10

• Neville Center (301 E. 5th) - Town Hall Lecture Series "The Past and Who You Are" featuring Elizabeth Smart, an advocate for change related to child abduction, recovery programs and National legislation. 10:30 a.m. Admission by season tickets, $60 for four lectures, available at the door.  • North Platte Senior Center - Dance to Lou Kraus. 7-9:30 p.m. $4. Bring finger food.


Friday, Sept. 12

• Sculley’s Shooters – Live music concert by Emphatic and Dollarhyde. Cover charge. 9 p.m.
