A North Platte man was charged Wednesday with running up hundreds of dollars of charges on his girlfriend’s debit card.

Police took the complaint Monday from the 2800 block of West Third, police investigator John Deal said.

A woman there told them she suspected boyfriend Jason Snodgrass, 46, of using her debit card to make more than $500 worth of transactions.

After further investigation, Deal said investigators found probable cause to believe Snodgrass had indeed run up the debit card.

Snodgrass was contacted on Wednesday and taken to jail, where he was charged with felony theft and released on his own recognizance.
