Friday, Aug. 1

• Brady - Brady Days begins. Lots of events throughout the day including turtle races, street dance, BBQ, games.

• Cody Park -- Free swimming, free kids carnival rides, 4-9 p.m. Free hot dogs from 5-7 p.m. or until they run out. Each child entitled to a free ice cream cone.

• Cody Park ballfields (1402 N. Highway 83) – Outdoor movie at the park: Despicable Me 2. Begins at dusk. No charge.

• Cody Park - Municipal Band concert. 8 p.m. Free.


Saturday, Aug. 2

• Farmers Market (Parkade Plaza parking lot) 7:30-1.

• Lincoln Highway Campground & RV Park (4684 W. Highway 30) - Live music by Ruka Puff & Jimmy Hooligan. 8 p.m. $10

• Brady - Brady Days continues. Lots of events throughout the day including turtle races, street dance, BBQ, games.

• Neville Center - Upstage Downtown Fun 5K. Costumes of movie/TV characters encouraged 8 a.m. $20 includes t-shirt.

• Feather River Vineyard (5700 SE State Farm Rd.) - Wine Barrel BBQ competition. Souvenir wine glass, wine tasting and food sampling 4-6 p.m. $20

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds (5015 W. Highway 30) - Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprints, auto races. 7 p.m. Regular admission: $10. Kids 6-12: $5.

• Stapleton - Dinner 5:30 pm. Community street dance, 8:30-12:30 pm. Main Street. Dinner is bull fires or chicken strips w fixings. Dance music by  Sunny Jackson Band. Admission dance $7. Admission meal (served throughout evening) $7. Funds go to victims of Pilger tornado. Cash bar.


Sunday, Aug. 3

• Brady - Brady Days concludes. Events throughout the day including turtle races, street dance, BBQ, games.


Tuesday, Aug. 5

• Farmers Market (Parkade Plaza parking lot) 4-6 p.m.


Wednesday, Aug. 6

• North Platte Senior Center - Dance to Ray Mullen. 7-9:30 p.m. $4. Bring finger food.


Thursday, Aug. 7

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live music featuring Sick Puppies. Starts at 9 p.m. $15.

• Fort Cody Trading Post (221 Halligan Drive) - Live outdoor music by Nathan Wade. Opening performer, D.C. Hunt. 6-9 p.m. $5 admission, kids 12 and under free.

Friday, Aug. 8

• Hershey Ball Park - Movie at the park: Heaven is for Real. Starts at dusk. Bring lawn chair, snacks.


Saturday, Aug. 9

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds (5015 W. Highway 30) - Mod Lite autor races. 7 p.m. Regular admission: $10, Kids 6-12: $5.


Wednesday, Aug 13

• North Platte Senior Center - Dance to Lou Krause. 7-9:30 p.m. $4. Bring finger food.


Thursday, Aug. 14

• Fort Cody Trading Post (221 Halligan Drive) - Live outdoor music by Daniel Christian 6-9 p.m. $5 admission, kids 12 and under free.


Friday, Aug. 15

• Maxwell - Maxwell Heritage Days. Classic car show, food. 5-9 p.m.


Saturday, Aug. 16

• Farmers Market (Parkade Plaza parking lot) 7:30-1.

• Lincoln Highway Campground & RV Park (4684 W. Highway 30) - Live music Led Zepagain - A tribute to the great rock band, Led Zeppelin. 7:30 p.m. $15 in advance, $20 at door.

• The Rail Bar (next to Depot Restaurant) - dance to Kris Lager Band, 9-1.

• Maxwell - Maxwell Heritage Days continues. Parade, poker run, demolition derby, watermelon eating contest dunk tank, bingo, Fun Jumpz, paintball, pony rides, BBQ feed. 5-9 p.m.

• A to Z Books – Open Mic Nite, 7-10 p.m. Live entertainment. Refreshments. Admission by freewill donation.

• Wild West Arena - Monster Truck Show. 7:30 p.m. Youth: $14 in advance, $15 at door; Adults: $19 in advance, $20 at door.

• Hershey - Hershey Fall Festival. Parade, kids games, BBQ, 5K run.
