City to treat more areas for mosquitoesTell North Platte what you think

The city of North Platte will treat more areas of the city for mosquitoes for three nights, Tuesday-Thursday.

Weather permitting, treatments will begin at 8 p.m. and end around midnight. Reisdents in the areas to be treated are asked to turn off window fans, close windows and doors as precautions. 

Three areas will be sprayed Tuesday:

• Between Second St. and A Street; between Second St. and Burlington Blvd.

• South of the So. Platte River

• Between Seventh St. and Rodeo Road/12th St.

Two areas will be treated Wednesday:

• Between A. St. and Philip Ave.

• Between Burlington Blvd. and Philip Ave.

On Thursday:

• Between Front St. and Second St.
