Trail Rides to be offered at Buffalo Bill Ranch Tell North Platte what you think

Trail Rides will be offered through the summer and fall at the Buffalo Bill Ranch State Historical Park and State Recreational Area in North Platte.

The rides, provided by Dusty Trails LLC, will be hour-long rides through the state recreational area along the scenic North Platte River. Rides start June 21, which is the first Saturday of the Nebraskaland Days celebration and will continue until the state historical park closes in mid-October for the winter months.

Game and Parks spokeswoman Julie Geiser said the rides will be offered from noon to 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, or by appointment during the week. The cost is $15 per rider or $20 per horse per hour, by appointment.

The historical park is at the north end of Buffalo Bill Ave.

For more information about the trail rides contact Dusty Barner of Dusty Trails LLC at 308-530-0048 or the historical park office at 308-535-8035.
