A two-day golf tournament will be held Monday and Tuesday, June 9-10, the 2014 Junior Ambassador Classic Two Day Tournament will take place at Lake Maloney golf course and at River’s Edge golf club.
Nearly 60 junior golf entrants ages 7-18 from around the western end of the state will compete. This is one of the biggest junior golf tournaments in the state, organizer Ty Lucas said.
• June 9 - Lake Maloney golf course, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
• June 10 - River’s Edge Golf Club, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
A special event, the Junior Slugfest Scramble, will be held June 9 at River’s Edge Golf Club at 6:30 p.m. Juniors will be randomly teamed in a 3-hole scramble in competition for trophies.
Trophies will be awarded for the top three places in each division collectively through the two-day tournament.
The trophy presentation will be held at the end of play on June 10 at Rivers’ Edge Golf Club around 2 p.m. by the 10th/18th green, Lucas said
