A 19-year-old woman said that while visiting friends at the house, her domestic partner, Rusty Foster, 20, showed up, yelling and demanding to speak with her.  Foster reportedly stood outside the house with a shotgun and he “cocked” it as if to make a loading sound, the woman said.

The woman and other occupants hid towards the rear of the home.

Moments later, Foster allegedly put the firearm inside his vehicle and entered the house, along with the victim’s 44-year-old father. The woman said she was forced to leave with Foster to return to their house in the 2300 block of W. 16th.

Once there, the woman said Foster became physical, forcibly grabbing her by her arms. She said he “threw her across the room,” according to the police report.

The victim told police that Foster tried to keep her from leaving, but she managed to get out the back door and go to a neighbor’s home.

At around 1:15 a.m. on June 1, or early the following morning, officers found Foster driving a silver Nissan in the 900 block area of Rodeo Road.

Foster was contacted in the car. Police found an unloaded Mossberg shotgun in the trunk, along with shotgun ammo inside the car as well as in the trunk, police spokesman Rodney Brown said.

Officers arrested Foster without further incident and took him to the Lincoln County jai. He is charged with terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony and third-degree domestic assault.

Bond is set at $10,000.
