Allberry signs with FlamesTell North Platte what you think

North Platte St. Pat's graduate Shelby Allberry has signed to play basketball at the College of St. Mary in Omaha.

Allberry, a 6-foot-1 guard-forward, played this past season Central Community College in Columbus. In her one season at Central, Allberry played in 32 games, averaging 5.8 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game.

During her prep career at St. Pat's, Allberry was a three sport letter winner. She earned all-state honors in basketball and volleyball, while qualifying for state track.

“I chose CSM because of the Occupational Therapy program,” Allberry said.  “I liked the small campus and also think that CSM has a lot to offer with academics as well as athletics.

The College of Saint Mary basketball finished the 2013-14 season with a 27-6 record and advanced the NAIA Division II Sweet 16.  The Flames were the MCAC regular season and post season champions.
