Around 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, police made contact with Joshua Malsbury at his home with probable cause to arrest him for felony possession of methamphetamine.

Malsbury was pulled over back on Dec. 21 near Ninth and Buffalo on suspicion of drug use. At that time, a search turned up paraphernalia that is commonly used in intravenous meth use. The items were sent to the Nebraska State Patrol crime lab for analysis.

On May 2, the lab returned the  test results, indicating the presence of methamphetamine, police spokesman Rodney Brown said.

Malsbury was found and arrested May 13.

He was taken to the Lincoln County jail, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. He is held on a $10,000 bond.

Malsbury was arrested twice in January and charged with drug possession both times.

On Jan. 2 he was charged with  possession of cocaine and methamphetamine, based on lab test results of items found in his car in September. His bond was set at $7,500. He served 12 days before he came up with the required 10 percent payment and was released.

Two days later, on Jan. 16,  he went back to jail when tests indicated he'd also possessed heroin, according to police reports.

He served 4 days before he was released on 10% of $7,500 bond, according to sheriff's records.
