Tour of Lincoln County attractions is setTell North Platte what you think

The Tourism Advisory Committee and Lincoln County/ North Platte Visitors Bureau have teamed up to produce a tour of area attractions.

The tour will be May 19, departing from the Veterans Memorial at 8 a.m. The cost is $25 per person or $20 for TAC members. The tour includes transportation, lunch, snacks and admission fees to all attractions.

TAC is a group of local business’s related to the tourism industry. TAC meets monthly to discuss upcoming events, organize volunteer opportunities, and listen to guest speakers. Any business, attraction, restaurant or individual, touched by tourism is welcome to become a member.

Attractions on the tour will be: Scouts Rest Ranch, Lincoln County Historical Museum, The Golden Spike Tower and Visitors Center, Ft Cody Trading Post, Ft. McPherson National Cemetary, Cody Park, Grain Bin Antiques and the Feather River Vineyard. A guide will share information during the tour.

The tour is open to everyone. The goal of the tour is increase awareness of the attractions in our area.  

Reservations can be made with Ginger Ady at the North Platte/Lincoln County Visitors Bureau at 308-532-4729. Reservations must be made by May 15 as seating is limited.
