Golden Spike to hold community day SundayTell North Platte what you think

The Golden Spike observation tower at Bailey Yard will hold a community day celebration all day Sunday, featuring free admission, food, kids games and a pavilion celebration. 

The Spike will serve pancakes starting at 8:30 a.m. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and a celebration of the brick pavilion will be from 3-5 p.m.

The Spike will be open for viewing from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
