NPHS musicians to present annual ‘Spectrum in Sound’Tell North Platte what you think

The North Platte High School varsity musicians will present the annual “Spectrum in Sound” concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6 in the North Platte High School Performing Arts Center.

Groups will include the varsity Jazz Ensemble, Blue and Gold Singers, varsity orchestra, varsity band and concert choir. 

In addition, a piece entitled ‘Andrew Lloyd Webber: A Concert Celebration’ will be performed by all of the groups together.

This is the farewell concert for the graduating seniors and will include the senior slide show, music director Leah Purdy said. The bands are under the direction Brett Bradley. The orchestra is directed by Dawn Fickel and the choirs are under the direction of Purdy. 

Admission is free and the public is welcome.
