Skylar Bokoskie, the son of Kilynne and William Bokoskie of North Platte, will receive his Eagle Scout rank on Saturday at the Presbyterian Church from 2-4 p.m.

Bokoskie worked with the Game and Parks at the Scout's Rest Ranch and campground to provide birdwatchers places to see the fantastic birds of Nebraska, by building eight bird feeders.

Bokoskie also built three park benches and placed them on the bank of the North Platte River in the campground to provide places to sit and watch the scenery.

Bokoskie is in Troop 291 at the Presbyterian Church. He has been active in Scouting for 12 years, starting as a Cub Scout in pack 289. He has earned 54 merit badges, 21 of which were required to earn the Eagle rank.
