• Lincoln County Fairgrounds - Country Bluegrass Show. Top acoustic musicians. Workshops, live music, food, raffles. Noon-10 p.m. One-day ticket $20; Ticket three days $50.


Friday, April 25

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live music featuring Victory Undergound. Starts at 9 p.m. Cover charge.

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds - Country Bluegrass Show. Workshops, live music, food, raffles. Noon-10 p.m. Ticket for one day $20.

• North Platte Recreation Center (1300 McDonald Rd.) - James O'Rourke Memorial Triathalon. Noon.

• VFW - Live country music by Ray Mullen. 7-10 p.m. Open to the public. Freewill donation.

• Dowhower girls softball fields (16th St. & N. Sycamore) – Outdoor street dance for middle and high school students. “Music Encounters” is D.J. $4. 8-10:30 p.m.


Saturday, April 26

• A to Z Books – Open Mic Nite, 7-10 p.m. Performances by veterans and newcomers alike. Freewill donation.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live music featuring Victory Undergound. Starts at 9 p.m. Cover charge.

• Lincoln County Fairgrounds - Country Bluegrass Show. Showcase for new bands in morning. Workshops, live music, food, raffles. 10 am-10pm.One day $20.

• Harvest Christian Fellowship North Campus (2607 Rodeo Rd.) - Celebrate Kids. Games and food. 1-4 p.m. Free event.

• Paxton High School Gym (308 Elm St.) - Concert and benefit for Doug Babbitt, Julie Barger, Korey Schow and Dean Schow. Live music featuring Josh Wilson and The Davis Boys. Benefit supper at 4:30 p.m. Concert 5 p.m. Free will donation.

• Art & Gift Gallery (516 N. Dewey) - Annual Art Gallery show. Art Study League presents awards to art students at 2:30 p.m.


Wednesday, April 30

• Senior Center (901 E. 10th) - Dance to live music by Doug Powers Band. 7-9:30 p.m. $4 admission. Bring finger food.


Thursday, May 1

• Holiday Inn Express (300 Platte Oasis Pkwy.) - Taste of the Plains. Locally produced food, wine and art. 5:30-8 p.m. $25         


Friday, May 2

• Lincoln Highway RV Park (Hwy. 30) - Honky Tonk BBQ festival. BBQ feed, kids carnival, bike show, exhibits, live music and beer garden.

• Lincoln Highway RV Park (Hwy. 30) - Live music featuring ZZ Top tribute band ZZ-3. 8 p.m.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live music featuring Whiskey Bent. Starts at 9 p.m. Cover charge.


Saturday, May 3

• Lincoln Highway RV Park - Honky Tonk BBQ festival. Breakfast, craft vendors, kids carnival, karaoke contest, live music and beer garden.

• Lincoln Highway RV Park (Hwy. 30) - Live music featuring The Randall Zwarte Band. 9 p.m.

• Sculley’s Shooters (2221 E. Fourth) – Live music featuring Whiskey Bent. Starts at 9 p.m. Cover charge.

• Golden Spike Tower and Visitors Center (1249 Homestead Rd.) - Community Day. Free admission to the Spike.

• Cody Park (1402 N. Jeffers) - Spring Fling craft show. 10 a.m.-5 p.m.


Tuesday, May 6

• Neville Center (301 E. 5th) - Town Hall Lecture Series featuring storyteller, producer and author of Burn the Ground Kambri Crews. 10:30 a.m. Admission by season tickets, $60 for four lectures, available at the door.


Wednesday, May 7
