North Platte police are looking for a hit and run driver who hit a pedestrian on Saturday.

Sarah Doherty, 32, was walking across the street to her car was parked on Fifth St., when another car ran into her and then drove off, westbound. Doherty's car was parked in a driving lane, according to a police diagram.

The collision happened around 6:40 p.m. near the intersection of Fifth and Carr.

Doherty, who lives at 1220 East Sixth, suffered visible but not disabling injuries, according to the police report. She was not taken to the hospital.
