The Friends of the Library spring book sale is scheduled April 24-26 at the North Platte Public Library.

On Thursday, April 24, members only will be admitted to a preview sale from noon to 8 p.m. Annual, low-cost memberships in the Friends of the Library can be purchased or renewed at the library on the day of the sale.

The sale is open to the public on Friday, April 25 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and again Saturday more 9 a.m.-noon. The sale reopens from 105 p.m. a bag sale, where you can fill up a bag for $2, spokeswoman Terry Johnson said.  You can fill as many bags as you want.

This spring book sale will feature more than 3,000 children’s books. The Friends received a large estate donation that was 75% children’s books, published during the last 60 years.

This will be a good sale, Johnson said.
