Brady girls, South Loup boys win junior high track meetTell North Platte what you think

The Brady Lady Eagles scored 81 points Wednesday to take home first place at the Hershey St. Patrick’s junior high track invite. 


The Bobcats from South Loup won the boys meet with 103.5 points. 


Athletes from 11 schools competed on a cold and windy day in Hershey.

Among the individual highlights, Sutherland’s Bailee Fear won both the 100 and 200 meter runs for the Lady Sailors.  Shaylee Jones paced the SMC girls taking home two firsts with victories in the 800 and 1600 meter runs.

The boys’ competition also yielded two double gold winners.  James Schroll of St. Patrick’s placed first in the 100 and 200 meter runs and Anselmo-Merna runner Luke Christen won the 800 and 1600 meter runs.

SMC totaled 3 first place finishes in the girls’ division. 


South Loup’s boys won the most gold medals at the meet with a total of 4.
