Lake Maloney boat dock vandalizedTell North Platte what you think

The boat dock at the main entrance of Lake Maloney State Recreation Area will not be in the water until April 18 or so.

The dock is at north end outlet area near the wall.

Due to suspected vandals, chains were cut on the dock that will have to be repaird to make a new concrete anchor before the dock will be ready for use, Game and Parks spokeswoman Julie Geiser said.

Otherwise, Game and Parks personnel are in the process of getting boat docks back in the water at state recreation areas, Geiser said.
