There will be millions of dollars spent between the senate and the governor's races this election cycle in Nebraska. Millions will be poured into television ads, radio, along with signs, newspaper, mailings and staff, all in an effort to get the attention of the voters.
One candidate for governor has been quietly listening to the voters of Nebraska, quietly travelling the state, meeting citizens and hearing their vision for our future.
Mike Foley is running a campaign for governor that would make even the most frugal among us proud. He and his wife Susan saved campaign signs from his first legislative race in 2000 and used them again for his campaign as state auditor. Now those same signs are popping up in yards across the state.
Mike is a true believer that every dollar you pay in taxes to the state of Nebraska should be spent in a way that is respectful of the taxpayer who earned that dollar. He is careful with his campaign funds. He is incredibly careful with your funds as state auditor.
Mike Foley is the best candidate for governor.
