Two children were taken to the hospital with non-critical injures Monday after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Willow and E St.
The wreck occurred at 11:08 a.m., according to the accident report. A five year old child suffered minor cuts and swelling. A four-month-old girl did not have visible injuries, but could have been injured. Both children were taken by ambulance to the hospital.
Witnesses said Clinton Wilkening, 52, blew through the E. St. stop sign, driving a 2010 Nissan Titan. Wilkening hit a 1998 Chevy Tahoe driven by Patricia McGuire, 35.
McGuire’s Tahoe was hit in the middle of the driver’s side. All occupants were wearing seat belts or in child restraint seats, according to the report.
The Tahoe sustained an estimated $7,000 in damages. Wilkening’s Titan was damaged to the tune of $9,000.
No police citations were issued.
