Wilson Fairchild, a duo with direct ties to the great Statler Brothers, will headline the annual Country-Bluegrass music festival in April.
Wil’s dad is Harold Reid and Langdon’s dad is Don Reid of the legendary Statler Brothers. The two, known as “the Reid boys,” have been writing, performing and playing music together throughout their lives. They hail from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
In addition to recording CDs, they have opened for George Jones’ national farewell tour, performed at Banson and helped write a Grammy-nominated album with Ricky Skaggs.
The 14th annual Lincoln County Bluegrass Show will cover three days, from Thursday-Saturday, April 24-26, at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.
