“The downtown is a vital area of our community and I, along with the Downtown Association, are here to find ways to help enhance the downtown experience to encourage shopping local and supporting our local businesses in the downtown area,”  Honerman said.

Downtown association meetings are held on the first Tuesday each month. The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday March 5 at the Depot, with a social beginning at 5:30 p.m.  This is a great opportunity for downtown merchants to network and learn of upcoming events in the downtown area, organizers say.
