Tuition up slightly at Catholic schoolsTell North Platte what you think

Tuition will increase by 3 percent at the North Platte Catholic Schools in 2014-15, the board of education decided Feb. 18.

The board met for their monthly meeting. Superintendent Kevin Dodson said that the board and administration try to keep tuition rates as affordable as possible while also working to balance other areas of the school budget.

The board also approved the 2014-15 budget and accepted a letter of resignation from band instructor James Holys.

The next board meeting will be held at 7 p.m. March 18 in the St. Pat’s High School library.
