Tyler J. Milligan
A standoff Sunday at a mobile home on the west side of North Platte ended peacefully when the man walked out.
The trouble began around 3:15 p.m., when police answered a report of a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of N. Bare.
A 19-year-old woman told officers that she and her domestic partner Tyler Milligan had argued, and Milligan pointed a shot gun at her, threatening to shoot her.
The woman left the mobile home, but said Milligan, a convicted felon, continued to threaten her as she was leaving, police spokesman Rodney Brown said.
Officers secured the area and began evacuating neighbors for their safety.
Milligan was contacted by text message, requesting that he come out of the home and resolve the situation in a peaceful manner, but did not respond to the text or to other requests from the victim or police.
Approximately 20 minutes later, Milligan walked out of the residence. He was immediately arrested without further trouble.
Milligan, 21, is charged with domestic assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person and terroristic threats. He is held on a $250,000 bond.
