Rogers, 21, and Jim Bob Cassell, 34 are suspected in the Nov. 13 robbery of two North Platte men at gunpoint at a home in the 800 block of North Jackson.

The two victims said that two men forced their way into their home around 1:15 a.m. They said one of the alleged robbers wore a ski mask and was armed with a collapsible baton, while the other was not wearing a mask but brandished what a black, semi-automatice style hand gun.

The men demanded money and personal items. They made off with around $500, a 35 millimeter camera and accessories valued at around $2,000, plus cigarettes, a cordless Black and Decker drill and Jig Saw attachment, the victims said.

Police said Cassell and Rogers were identified through a further investigation. Cassell was located and arrested the next day, but Cody remained at large until Wednesday.

Both men are charged with robbery, use of a weapon to commit a felony, terroristic threats and burglary.

Rogers was arrested and jailed, and is also held for active warrants in Keith County, where he is charged with third-degree assault, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Rogers is held on jail bonds that total $65,000.
