BB: Hershey girls rattle CozadTell North Platte what you think

The Hershey girls basketball team defeated Cozad Tuesday, 58-26.

Hershey had a 5 point lead in the first quarter of the subdistrict game, but by halftime the Lady Panthers broke out to a 23-7 lead.

The Lady Panthers had three scorers in double figures. Maddie Seamann scored 15 points. Maegan Hiatt and Taylor Mustion each added 13 points.

Cozad finishes the season with a 6-18 record.

Next, Hershey (23-3) faces Gothenburg (11-12) on Thursday for the subdistrict championship. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. at Sutherland High School.

Gothenburg crushed Ogallala (10-15) Tuesday, 39-19.

Hershey is ranked fifth in Class C1, according to the Nebraska School Activities Association.
