Leadership group gathers $900, plus day of games, for Senior CenterTell North Platte what you think

Donors contributed $900 to the North Platte Senior Center Saturday, part of the Red, White and Blue games that were held Friday.

Seniors played indoor games, such as bingo to a wheel of fortune game, to a pool shot and tic-tac-toe golf, hosted and orgranized by a Lincoln County Leadership group.

The games, and lunch that day, were free for seniors.

As part of the project, the Red, White and Blue leadership group soliticed donations from individuals and businesses. First National Bank of North Platte was a leading contributor.

Receiving the check, at left, is Shawna Tatman, the N.P. Senior Center Director. Presenting the check are, from left, organizers Susan Morton, Dru Hicks, Braxton Fecht and  Kesha Heinzle.
