Mail: Jacked up propane priceTell North Platte what you think

Can we please tell the truth about this (high price of propane)?

People who play the energy markets are well aware of the exacerbated need for heating fuel, and, like many commodities players, have artificially jacked up the price of propane to make a killing profit while the market (consumers) are in need. Unlike most of those who play the commodities market, these 'dealers' (mostly from their living rooms) never have to take delivery of their product, and can cheerfully gamble with other peoples' lives and pocketbooks.

This happens every time there is a bad winter; HOW do people forget in between? Like the people who sell cheap chainsaws @ $1,000 after a hurricane, it is egregious manipulation for profit.

Do your research, and please don't take the "shortage" story at face value...
