BB: Sutherland girls roll over CambridgeTell North Platte what you think

The Sutherland girls basketball team ran to a nine-point lead over Cambridge in the opening quarter Friday and never slowed down, roaring to a 71-31 win.

Three Sailors scored in double figures, with Kaley Stokey leading the offensive barrage with 26 points. Stokey hit 4 of 4 from three-point range and grabbed six rebounds. Sam Staggs scored 19 for Sutherland, hitting 4-4 from the free throw line and 54% of her shots from the floor, and she came up with six steals. Teammate Jaylene Schuster scored 15 points, with six steals and five rebounds.

Sutherland advanced to 8-4 on the season. Cambridge is 7-4.
