North Platte therapist Victoria Dugger, 57, was arrested Jan 8 in Omaha.

An employee at Dillards in the Oak View Mall allegedly saw Dugger take 14 designer purses and stuff them into Dillards bags she had taken from a checkout and leave the store.

A security guard stopped Dugger as she was walking out.

Lt. Darcy Tierney of the Omaha police said officers found more items from Dillards in Dugger’s vehicle including wallets, 27 pairs of jeans and 29 other pieces of clothing with a total value of $11,000.

Dugger was charged with felony theft.

Dugger operated a counseling service at 102 McNeel Lane in North Platte at one time, and later she worked at New Beginnings Therapy Associates at 308 West Fourth. She specialized in female counseling and substance abuse counseling, according to a listing of medical professionals across the country on Healthgrades.com.
