Basketball: Hershey boys lose to BisonTell North Platte what you think

HERSHEY-The size and shooting ability of McCook was too much for Hershey to handle on Friday as the Bison posted a 44-27 win over the Panthers.

Hershey (2-9) competed well with a much bigger McCook team for the first four minutes. But the Bison (6-4) went on a seven-point run to take a 13-6 lead.

It was 21-10 McCook at the end of the first quarter as the Bison scored the last six of the quarter on three-pointers by Chase Midkiff and Bryce Lyons.

McCook showed flashes of dominance that came and went throughout the game. In the second quarter, the Bison pretty much went on cruise control and it was 31-16 at halftime.

But in the third quarter, the Bison picked it back up and they led 42-23 going into the fourth quarter before they emptied the bench to end the game.
