NebraskaLand National Bank celebrates 'My Fair Share' programTell North Platte what you think

Each year, NebraskaLand National Bank employees nominate organizations in the North Platte community to receive donations from bank employees.

In the “My Fair Share” program, employees set aside part of the their pay to benefit the community, and each year, employees decide what percentage of their contribution will go toward which organization.

The new recipients of the program are the Bridge of Hope Advocacy Center, North Platte Teammates and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).

These organizations will receive nearly $9,200, spokeswoman Danielle Nichols said.

Organizations that have been nominated in the past include: Creativity Unlimited Arts Council, North Platte Children’s Museum, Rape and Domestic Abuse Program, Gift of Hope, American Cancer Society, and Children’s Advocacy Center.

Nearly $57,000 has been donated since the program’s inception in 2004.

NebraskaLand National Bank will present checks to these organizations at the “My Fair Share Breakfast” at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 24 in the main bank lobby at 1400 S. Dewey.

The bank employees will host the organizations in celebration of the success and accomplishments that these vital agencies provide to our community.
