Wesley Sharp, 40, was jailed Thursday, charged with first degree sexual assault of a child.

According to a police report, Sharp used a finger to sexually penetrate a juvenile several times.

Recently, the girl slept over at the home of Sharp and his wife on Jan. 5, and Sharp insisted the girl sleep in the couple’s bed. The girl said she woke up to Wesley digitally penetrating her. On Wednesday, Sharp reportedly gave the alleged victim a ride home and assaulted her again after he pulled over near Cody Park, again using his finger.

Similar assaults reportedly took place during the past three years, police said.

Sharp was placed in the Lincoln County jail, held on $250,000 bond.

Pamela Trevino, 55, was jailed Thursday, charged with third-degree assault of her boyfriend.

A police officer responded to a complaint at 3:45 a.m. in the 1400 block of Rodeo Road, where a man said his live-in girlfriend hit him. The man had a swollen eye, according to the police report.

Trevino could not be immediately found, but later she returned and reportedly hit him again. Police said Trevino had no injuries.

Alcohol was reportedly involved. Both individuals had been partaking, according to the report.
