The Bulldogs (5-3) will play for a second straight GNAC title when they take on Norfolk (8-0) on Saturday.

Scottsbluff (5-3) started the game on an 8-0 run and they led for the entirety of the first half. But NPHS cut into the lead and only trailed 33-31.

The Dawgs then overtook the Bearcats in the third quarter and they led as much as 12 in the fourth quarter.

But Scottsbluff, behind the duo of Trent Harris and Dru Kuxhausen, put on a furious comeback late and pushed to within one possession.

Kade Erickson, who had a game-high 27 points, made some crucial free throws in the final minute for the Bulldogs to preserve the lead.

Behind Erickson, Drew Callaghan had 21 points for North Platte.
